Following the first London Marathon five friends joined together as a running group. They ran together during 1980-1981 and then formally established Ramsey Road Runners as a club in 1982. David Wallwork, the original chairman, and Adrian Graham, the current chairman, were founder members of the club which has now grown to around 100 members.

As a club we compete in the Frostbite League, Greenwheel Relay, Round Norfolk Relay and Hereward Relay
