RRR Social Life
RRR organise a few social events during the year. These are not only a good night out but raise funds for the club. As a small club, funding is very important to us:
2014 Award Winners
Very well done to one and all. This year sadly saw the need for the introduction
of another Memorial Award. Pauline and Jim
Chandler have donated a trophy to the club. The initial recipient - receiving
the award in June 2014 - was Anne Kirk, Anne held the award to the end of the
year when it was awarded to Sandra Butler on her retirement from competitive
running. Through this award, the memory of Jim; his contribution to the club;
and to sport in general will be fondly remembered.
2012 Trophy Awards
Very well done to all of the above. A great achievement either by effort, by ability or by vote by your fellow members. The awards are based on results over the calendar year so now is your chance to change the award winners at the end of the year. Be part of it, get involved, you have to be in it to win it. We look forward to seeing your name in type for the 2013 Presentation Evening.
