Another Ramsey Runner

 Eye Charity 5m - 12 Jun 08

Ramsey Road Runners entered a team of 14 in the Eye Charity 5 mile road race, dated Thursday 12th Jun 2008.  This was a fairly flat fast course in around the outskirts of Eye, Peterborough .  The race attracted 175 runners where the weather turned much cooler with no wind and attracted some fast times.  Congratulations to Michelle Prior who was the first lady to finish.  Both Simon Mead and Eddie Barrett also gained personal bests over this distance.  The event was very well organised and one water stop was provided halfway on the course.  All those completing the course were presented with a bottle of lager.
