Eye 10K

Ramsey Road Runners entered a team of 16 in the Eye 10K and 5 Juniors in the Eye Fun Run, dated Sunday 11^th May 2008. This was a fast flat 10K course around the outskirts of Eye, Peterborough . The 10 K race attracted 485 runners and the Fun Run attracted 170 runners. The weather was very hot but the wind and some shading along the off road parts during the second half was a blessing, along with the water stop at 6K. The event was very well organised and all those who completed the course were presented with a commemorative reward. In the Fun Run Molly White (pictured) won the Girls under 9's prize and Ellen Steadman won the Girls 10-11 category. Well done!
